This fashion editorial looks at the connection between identity and childhood memory through the idea of stuffed animals, with five models dressing like or embodying the stuffed animals they grew up with. Instead of copying them exactly, the looks focus more on the feeling of these objects, using texture, shape, and small details to bring out ideas of softness, comfort, and familiarity. Things like worn fabrics, oversized silhouettes, and stitched elements reference the physical qualities of the toys while still feeling like fashion. The models take on these characters in a subtle way, blurring the line between themselves and the objects, making it feel less like a costume and more like stepping into a memory. The project is interested in how these early attachments stay with us and continue to shape how we express ourselves. By bringing something so personal into a fashion editorial setting, the work turns nostalgia into something active and present, where comfort, vulnerability, and play can be seen and worn.
